Coffee & Cake & Cylons
January 15, 2008Today is the first anniversary of The 13th Colony. Granted, on that first day when I finally screwed up my courage to start the club, I was it’s only member. But one year later, we have 95 members in 5 countries. We’ve held 14 events, including three “location scouting missions.” We’ve had more coffee than I can count. I knew when I started this club that there had to be more Battlestar Galactica fans in Vancouver than just me. Turns out I was right! But I also suspect there are even more out there….looking for us!
So, here’s your chance! In honour of our first birthday, we’re doing it again…on Saturday, January 26th at 1pm, a bunch of us are meeting for coffee & cake to celebrate, and of course, we’re bringing along our mini-cylon friends. Click here for the details.

Congrats and thanks for all the updates over the last year. Hey, I was wondering if you know of any bsg group in downtown/midtown toronto that meets up to watch the episodes when they air or on DVD or just to hang out and discuss the show and socialize?
My partner and I became fans in february 2007, and are anxiously looking forward to the last season. We’d love to get together with other fans who want to have intelligent, fun get-togethers around this show.
